Frequently Asked Questions
Do parents need to provide food? No, Kids Rock no requires parents to provide daily drinks, lunches, snacks and any needed utensils for their child(ren).
If babies are taking bottles, how do you handle frozen or pumped breast milk or formula preparation?
Parents of infants must send prepared bottles that are clearly labeled with the child’s name and date. Instructions regarding a feeding schedule, established by the parent, must be provided and these schedules should be updated as neccessary when new foods are introduced. Infant bottles will be reheated in our bottle warmers, shaken and temperature tested before feeding, unless specified by the parent. Any contents remaining in a bottle after a feeding will be discarded. Therefore, it is suggested that bottle be filled with the approximate amount the child will drink at each feeding.
How do you keep parents up to date on their kid’s daily activities or behavior? Do you offer a daily report?
A daily report, on our Procare app is prepared on each child at Kids Rock. This provides the parent with an overview of the activities in which the child participated, as well as information on meals, sleep, and toileting. Kids Rocks’ teachers will also provide comments on the child’s progress.

Do you have a Summer program? Yes, Kids Rock has a Summer program. Check our facebook page for information!

Yes
Do you provide part-time or drop-in care?
Yes, we provide both part-time and drop-in care for children.
Drop-in Service only is offered in East Ridge school.
Does Kids Rock perform background checks on its employees? The safety of the children in our care is our highest concern. Kids Rock maintains stringent hiring practices and conducts criminal background checks on all teachers and caregivers in our centers. This check includes a criminal record search and a cross-reference check to determine prior convictions or other records of criminal activity that would call into question an employee’s’ suitability to care for children. Additional elements of our required background checks include verification through the Office of Foreign Asset Control and Sexual Offender Database Search. The frequency for updating criminal background checks for employees depends on state or other center-specific requirements
